Who We Are

Lobbying for Peace is an independent Brussels-based policy organisation focused on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, with particular attention to the role of the European Union.

We examine the political, institutional and economic conditions that shape whether a political settlement can be implemented and sustained. Our work covers Israeli and Palestinian political dynamics, Palestinian institutional viability and legitimacy, European policy and financing, donor coordination, reconstruction and the mechanisms through which political commitments move into implementation.

LFP combines independent policy analysis, advocacy and institutional engagement with local contextual insight. Our work draws on engagement with European and Palestinian institutions, researchers and policy specialists, alongside a growing range of Israeli policy and civil-society perspectives.

This helps connect Israeli and Palestinian political and institutional realities with the European political and institutional decisions that affect implementation.

Our work is grounded in international law and oriented towards a durable two-state solution.

LFP was founded in 2025 by Orange Gimena Elan, who spent more than a decade in hedge funds in senior operational and governance roles and holds an MA in Global Peace, Security and Strategic Studies from Vesalius College, now part of the Brussels School of Governance.
